In March 2016, Kranky Geek held our first WebRTC event in Bangalore, India. We had a great turn-out from the local tech community and a lot of interest in using WebRTC to add video, voice and messaging to mobile and web apps. In fact, the audience wanted more. You already know this – but Kranky Geek is a team of WebRTC practitioners committed to hosting fun and free technology events globally to help developers quickly start using this exciting customer experience technology.

So I’m happy to report that Kranky Geek will be returning to India during the week of 19 – 26, March 2017 with an expanded 3 city tour of Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai. The Kranky Geek website (krankygeek.com) has more details and how to register for these free events through Eventbrite.

We listened and this India tour will focus on practical applications, real-world successes and hands-on developer information for getting started with WebRTC. We’ll cover the most important applications and industries using WebRTC today and how you too should use WebRTC to extend your applications.

Tsahi (bloggeek.me) is providing us some of the WebRTC training materials from his online course and we’ll have special discounts for the rest of his course for attendees who want more education. Tokbox, a WebRTC platform provider, is graciously providing funding for this tour (though Kranky Geek agendas are always noncommercial and educational) as well as supporting their own Developer Workshops in each city.

The start of the tour is Bangalore on Sunday, 19. March at the 91Springboard workspace on Residency Road. Space will be limited with a hands-on session best suited to a smaller audience.  Go to the website (krankygeek.com) to also see the details for Hyderabad and Chennai and to register for all events.
